Paul "Bullitt" Wright, Bass Guitar & Vocals

Paul, a Sacramento native, has been performing music since the age of 12. Paul started with the tenor saxophone where he learned to read music and played in various ensembles. He took up bass guitar in the late '80s to accompany his brother and to play a heavier brand of music. After many struggling attempts at forming bands, Paul was recruited in 1991 to perform at a battle of the bands concert at the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento. Although eventually losing to his brother's band, Paul received recognition for his aggressive style of bass playing. During the '90s, Paul continued to study bass technique and theory, but he shifted the majority of his free time to training in both traditional and mixed martial arts. Paul now trains and teaches Yoshinkan Aikido at the Seikeikan dojo in Orangevale, CA. In 2006, Paul decided to get back into the music scene and joined a local cover band where he met lead guitarist Steve LaFontaine. The two left the band after a few local gigs, and reunited in 2007 with Paul's brother Philip, and fellow MMA training partner Eric Klein to form Jet Screamer. Paul continues to explore the possibilities of the bass guitar and improve his technique and musicianship.
